This artwork presents a striking collage featuring a white cat with unnervingly human features. The feline's face is superimposed with red lips, adding an eerie anthropomorphic element, while its eyes remain characteristically sharp and feline. Set against a backdrop of floating red petals, the composition evokes a sense of surrealism. The cat is adorned with an elaborate red and lace garment, reminiscent of historical aristocratic attire, enhancing the piece’s whimsical yet unsettling nature. Cyrillic text accompanies the visual elements, adding an enigmatic and cultural layer. The juxtaposition of human and animal features, along with the vibrant color scheme, creates a compelling visual narrative, prompting viewers to ponder the meaning and intention behind the bizarre yet captivating creation. The juxtaposition of elegance and surrealism stands as a unique hallmark of this piece, drawing attention and curiosity.

A lawyer by profession, Ekaterina received her primary art education at the Dzerzhinsk Children's Art School, returned to creativity in 2015, studied at the online courses of Nadezhda Baykova “Drawing without Rules” and at the Elena Shmakova School of Avant-Garde and Creative Education, the artist works in collage and graphic arts. Each artist chooses a theme for himself in his work, and the choice of a collage on my part is not accidental: adding up the details, you create a new story, a new reading of a particular plot, where the association mechanism is activated when the viewer begins to put their own meanings into the image they see, and here new stories are born.
