She has also provided private advice to collectors on their purchasing decisions and the logistical organization of their collections. Here, she lists four key tips to help you get started:

1/ Train your eye and trust your instinct: 2j1l2w

  • Let your emotions speak, appreciate art with your heart.
  • Sharpen your eye, look at as many works as possible: visit fairs, museum exhibitions, push open the doors of galleries.
  • Become a member ofArtMajeur's Collectors Circle and receive invitations to private exhibition tours.
  • Use the Iris AI to create your collector profile, specify your tastes and let yourself be guided.

2/ Buy a work that inspires you and moves you: 492249

If you choose a piece of art based on the color of your wallpaper or the size of your wall, you're likely to get bored very quickly. A work of art should, above all, move and transport you.

3/ Investing is not the priority: 2a1u4a

Buy because you fell in love with it, not because you were told it was a good investment.

4/ Be open-minded: 6o1c59

Let yourself be surprised, it is often the works that question you that you are most attached to.
