It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Gastone Cecconello (Vercelli, 1942) è artista di inesauribile vena creativa e si esprime con tutti i mezzi a sua disposizione: dall’incisione alla pittura, dalla scultura alla tecnica mista. Tutto il suo lavoro manifesta una incessante lotta tra la concretezza della materia e il desiderio di risalire alla semplicità delle origini, tra la seducente bellezza del ferro, del legno, della pietra e la vivacità delle paste colorate e dei tratti a pastello che generosi affollano e rianimano le superfici su cui si posano. Ricercatore solitario e fuori dal coro, sperimentatore instancabile e tenace, ma anche insofferente per natura ai massimi sistemi dell’arte e delle appartenenze sociali, Cecconello ha alle spalle un lungo cammino che lo vede protagonista nel panorama artistico italiano. Vive e lavora in provincia di Biella.
"Ho attraversato vari periodi espressivi. Una fase giovanile (fino agli anni '70) in cui il figurativismo era il terreno di maturazione della mia poetica. Dopodiché è avvenuta la scoperta del pensiero tragico dell'esistenza, con Bacon quale ispiratore principale. Nel 1976 ho tradotto queste istanze in una stilizzazione personale: una "sintesi" di uomo contemporaneo (ridotto al solo torso e testa inespressiva) incasellato, prigioniero di strutture geometriche lambite da variegatissime campiture cromatiche. Sul finire degli anni '80 sono tornato al paesaggio, con opere realizzate ad olio in rilievo e ispirate ai paesaggi della mia biografia, il Vercellese e il Biellese. Negli anni 2000 ho continuato queste tematiche ibridandole tra di loro. Alla base del mio lavoro c'è una febbrile ricerca di senso dell'esistenza umana; non posso dire di avere "teorie" ma di certo possiedo "sensi". Con una istintività ed energia frenetica elaboro figurazioni incessantemente orientate a leggere il mio vissuto e le reazioni che esso ha nei confronti di una società alienata e che sta abbandonando la natura e il mito".
