Au fil de ses voyages, notamment en Grèce et plus particulièrement dans les Cyclades, il est frappé par l’harmonie des couleurs, la pureté des formes et l’intensité de la lumière. L’architecture cycladique devient alors sa première source d’inspiration majeure, nourrissant son travail et éveillant sa créativité.
