This artwork draws inspiration from the people of Berlin and from all over the world who stand in solidarity with my country during the darkest times. This artwork draws inspiration from the people of Berlin and from all over the world who stand in solidarity with my country during the darkest times. While their daily routines may continue as usual, their hearts and minds are deeply engaged with Ukraine. It also reflects a part of myself within it. Despite the difficulties, I blossom like a flower and grow stronger.

Molded parts: the head, neck, shins, and part of the arms are molded from polymer clay, and the rest of the body is textile stuffed with sawdust. Decorated with pastels, eyeshadows, and watercolor, and covered with acrylic varnish. Clothes are non-removed. Non-removable original wool wig.
The doll has wood ball ts, the parts are connected with an elastic band.
Height is about 31 cm.

The handmade doll is made in a single copy and will not be repeated.

This is a collectible doll, not intended for children’s play. The doll can stand on its own, but I do not recommend leaving it without a stand. It requires careful handling and must be protected from direct sunlight and water.

Kateryna Oshchepkova is a Ukrainian doll artist, currently rooted in the vibrant city of Berlin. For Oshchepkova, dolls transcend mere creations; they serve as vessels for her emotions, a means of expression through which she paints the canvas of her inner world and the external landscapes that surround her. With each doll, she weaves threads of her being, offering a glimpse into her unique perspective of life.

The name "Koshmak" carries a profound significance in her journey—an homage to her great-grandfather's lineage, originating from Kyiv. The legacy of her ancestors, woven into the surname, speaks of a history that traverses time and space. Through her artistry, she pays homage to this heritage, embracing the moniker "Koshmak" as a tribute to the memories and stories that echo through the generations.

From the heart of Berlin, Kateryna Oshchepkova pours her soul into each doll she creates, inviting viewers to step into her world and experience life as she perceives it. Through delicate craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, her dolls serve as intricate reflections of her artistic journey, infused with the essence of both her personal narrative and the rich tapestry of her ancestry.
