AB OR TO è un rito visivo, una catarsi impressa nella materia.
Il dolore non nasce dalle ustioni, ma dalla necessità di purificarsi: una trasformazione spirituale che attraversa il corpo e la sostanza.
L’origine — intesa come luogo della vita — genera la materia, la trasforma, la fa vivere. Ma in essa si cela anche la sua antitesi: la morte come negazione, come interruzione del processo alchemico della creazione.
Il sangue umano, mescolato alla cera profumata di miele, diventa linfa sacra. I tubi di rame, come un cordone ombelicale, conducono energia vitale, mentre il fuoco, elemento ancestrale e purificatore, agisce come strumento rituale e libera ciò che è imprigionato.
Un’anima, forse. Una memoria. Un atto irripetibile.

AB OR TO is a visual rite, a catharsis etched into matter.
Pain does not arise from the burns, but from the need for purification — a spiritual transformation that es through both body and substance.
Origin — understood as the place of life — generates matter, transforms it, gives it vitality. Yet within it lies its antithesis: death as negation, as the interruption of the alchemical process of creation.
Human blood, mixed with honey-scented wax, becomes sacred sap. The copper tubes, like an umbilical cord, conduct vital energy, while fire — ancestral and purifying — acts as a ritual instrument, releasing what is trapped.
A soul, perhaps. A memory. A one-time act.

Nell'arte c'è un impulso esistenziale dirompente che proietta emozioni all'esterno in un flusso liberatorio e intellettivo. Le mie opere diventano l'introversione della memoria all'origine dell'uomo, un processo alchemico di continua metamorfosi.
Ho frequentato l'Accademia di Brera, laureandomi con lode sotto la guida di insegnanti illustri come Sanesi, Leonetti, Accame, Fabro, Ceretti, Ballo, Cerritelli, Porzio, Terruso, Baratella, Pizzi, Hsiao, Colusso, D'Avossa e altri.
Durante la mia carriera artistica, ho avuto il sostegno della gallerista Grazia Chiesa dello Studio D'ars di Milano, presentata a lei da Marcello Colusso, storico dell'arte di Venezia. Ho partecipato a diverse mostre, sia collettive che personali. Sono stata riconosciuta da Vittorio Sgarbi, con cui ho partecipato a mostre collettive. Tra i miei sostenitori c'è stato anche Stefano Crespi, critico d'arte, curatore e scrittore.
La mia professione è stata eclettica: ho disegnato collezioni per sfilate di moda, creato gioielli, restaurato opere d'arte sacra e realizzato vetrate artistiche. Mi sono dedicata a progetti di spettacoli di cabaret e ho scritto una biografia, oltre ad altri lavori letterari.
Il mio tratto distintivo è l'abilità di coltivare contemporaneamente due forme artistiche: una istintiva e sperimentale, l'altra più accademica e orientata alla pittura.
Ho esplorato diversi periodi artistici:
Periodo Blu: definito da un'intensa emozione silenziosa, con dipinti blu su tele spoglie che elevano la figura femminile a forme eteree e ancestrali.
Periodo dell'Oro: Il fuoco viene utilizzato nella sua forma più lirica di trasformazione, nella sua metamorfosi spirituale. È il simbolo universale della vita... "la sostanza pura non modifica la sua apparenza (anzi ne attesta la fisicità), ma si rigenera in un continuo mutarsi di forma: tali cambiamenti esteriori indicano sia una ineluttabilità dello svolgimento temporale, che una qualità dinamica intrinseca alla materia". Simbolizza la metamorfosi e la rigenerazione della materia, impiegando materiali quali cera e oro per forgiare opere che incarnano la vita stessa.
Il Periodo Etereo rappresenta un tempo interiore, un'epoca dell'io, un'era di colori. Si riferisce all'arte giapponese e al Bushidō, la via del guerriero. Questo periodo esplora l'armonia e la bidimensionalità, offrendo uno sguardo sulla memoria dei simboli e sulla costanza del tempo.
